Updates on Our Site Visits

We received 12 proposals on July 1st for the SMILES Dental Project, ‘Spanning Miles In Linking Everyone to Services,’ nine month planning grant. Our Project team is currently conducting site visits across our beautiful state to select four to six grantees. We are excited about the interest in expanding access to oral health care and are thrilled to see strong applicants from every corner of the state.

SMILES Dental Project is a five-year initiative, and the first year is designed as a learning year – to understand the business model and to develop systems to deliver care using the dental workforce in a new way. We look forward to announcing the selected members of this initial learning community. Grantees will be selected by September 15, 2015.
